Easy living and well-being

Le Prieuré La Madelène - Seminars, guest house and cottage

The sweet life in Provence, blending well-being and fine dining

Le Prieuré La Madelène is a place for relaxation and well-being. The guest house and its environment, combined with our partner offers, ensure that you can let go and unwind.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served every morning between 8:15 and 09:45 am (end of service 10:15). In spring, guests can enjoy the beautiful sunrise during breakfast, while in summer, it is served on the terrace in the shade of the plane tree.

Our continental breakfast features hot drinks, breads, pastries, butter, jam and yogurts. In summer, we also add fresh fruit from nearby Malaucene orchards.

Sweet and / or savory tarts may also be offered at breakfast on an occasional basis.

A quick bite to eat

For guests who arrive later, or even those who love the place and no longer want to leave, we offer* you aperitif-style meals with delicious appetizers.

The products offered come mainly from the Malaucène market.

Aperitif tray: €58 for two persons drinks included (1 bottle).

On request (1 day before noon) : friday at 7:30 pm (end of service : 10:30 pm).

From June 1st to September 15, a light catering offer is available on Tuesday at 7:30 pm (end of service : 10:30 pm): 25€ drinks not included.

Picnicking is not allowed at Prieuré La Madelène.

Evening meals for privatization

Evening meals will only be offered for “private bookings” (with 12 guests minimum).

The menus we create combine seasonal organic products from the region for flavors with a southern touch. Our inspiration can vary depending on products available at the market, with tapenades, pissaladière, melon, ratatouille and much more.

We typically offer Mediterranean cuisine, but not only.

We can also recommend some wines selected from nearby vineyards and from other regions.

Full menu per person (drinks not included) €42

The aperitif starts at 7:30 p.m. and dinner at 8:15 p.m.

For full private bookings, we will agree together on the day when dinner will be served.

Malaucène and the surrounding area are full of fantastic restaurants. We can also recommend and book tables for guests at our favorite eateries, as we also want you to discover other dining experiences.

Swimming pool

The swimming pool, with views of the orchards, the surrounding hills and the hilltop village of Crestet, is the first place where you can relax.

Open from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., it is a common area shared by all occupants of Le Prieuré La Madelène (guest rooms and cottage).

Sunbeds, parasols, tables and chairs are all available to help you truly unwind.

Hot and cold drinks and homemade ice cream will be offered from 3.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.

To fully get away from it all and enjoy a peaceful moment poolside, we inform you that our Wi-Fi connection does not reach the swimming pool area.

The shop

The Vaucluse is home to many small producers and craftsmen who perpetuate age-old know-how. Known for its lavender fields, olive groves, wines and honeys, the destination offers a wide range of regional products.

As B&B owners, we’d like to share these precious discoveries with you.
